Johns Hopkins CEIRR (JH-CEIRR)

The Johns Hopkins Center of Excellence in Influenza Research and Response (JH-CEIRR) is a multi-disciplinary, international collaborative network designed to conduct integrated research to advance knowledge of factors that determine susceptibility to, emergence of, and transmission of influenza and other infectious diseases. JH-CEIRR brings together an international consortium of clinical, epidemiological, immunological, and virological experts who will serve as a resource for the global clinical, scientific, and public health communities by providing expertise and information that will aid in the emergency response to infectious disease outbreaks, epidemics, and pandemics resulting from various infectious diseases. 

JH-CEIRR consists of a global network of sites that survey for infectious diseases while collecting clinical, demographic, virological, and population data which informs local, national and global responses. JH-CEIRR provides resources to NIAID that will help inform public health preparedness and response efforts.
