Our Mission
The Centers of Excellence for Influenza Research and Response (CEIRR) is a NIAID-funded research network that conducts basic and applied research to improve the understanding of influenza virus biology and to develop medical countermeasures (MCMs) against influenza.
The CEIRR Network provides resources and reagents to the research community while promoting collaborations with domestic and international agencies and institutions. The network is devoted to staying at the forefront of pandemic preparedness efforts and poised to rapidly respond to public health emergencies caused by emerging influenza viruses.
